    Y1/2 Visit Millenium Gallery

    Our Year 2 classes visited the Millennium Gallery this week and took part in a pattern and print workshop. We worked with an artist and explored the gallery looking for and sketching different patterns.  We then turned our patterns into a printing block and printed our patterns onto fabric.

    Awesome Art in Nursery!

    The children in nursery have been reading the book 'Rosie's Walk'. The story features a fox, so the children were lucky enough to meet a stuffed fox and then got to draw some excellent images of it. Well done, nursery!

    Y3/4 Go Wild For Nature

    Last week, Y3/4 went to the local park to meet the ranger, learn to identify trees and do some leaf printing in clay. The sun was shining and everyone had a fantastic time!

    Anns Grove Rocks!

    Last week, Anns Grove's newest rock band (Kitty Angels) performed their first gig in the KS2 assembly! They played an original song and wowed the audience. Well done Kitty Angels - we can't wait to see you again!

    Yorkshire Sculpture Park Visit!

    Just before the Easter holidays, Y5/6 braved the weather to visit Yorkshire Sculpture Park! We had a great day and saw lots of amazing artwork in beautiful surroundings. The day out helped the children learn more about their art topic on the work of Barbara Hepworth. What a great day out!

    Y3/4 Get Crafty!

    Before the half-term break, Y3/4 were making clay bowls! They did this by rolling the clay into thin sausage shapes. Next, they placed them on top of each other to form the bowl shape. This linked to their learning about life in prehistoric Britain! Well done, Y3/4!
